Twin Pines Remote Backup is integrated directly with Microsoft Windows, utilizing familiar environments, such as My Computer and Windows Explorer. The service is intuitively easy to use and fully automated. As soon as you power on your machine, Twin Pines Remote Backup has you protected.

Twin Pines Remote Backup goes the extra mile to ensure critical data is being backed up. Audit files and backup logs are reviewed periodically and cross-referenced against the data currently selected for backup. Any discrepancies are discussed with the client and the appropriate changes to his or her backup schedule are made.

Data is encrypted prior to transmission and remains encrypted while on Gillware Data Services backup servers. During transmission, data is sent over a SSL (secure socket layer) port on your computer essentially encrypting the data twice on its way to Gillware?s storage servers. In comparison, the same technology used to transport critical financial data from personal computers to vendors for online transactions is far less secure since the source data (for example, your credit card number) is not itself encrypted; it is only encrypted during transmission and is decrypted when received by the vendor. With Gillware, the data remains encrypted on the server at all times. Restoral of archived data is equally secure; requiring multi-level authentication credentials and encryption key.
